Economical Fiber Transmitter
The FT13xxEG AM laser transmitter is the ideal solution for a range of applications requiring signal transmission of NTSC, PAL, digital or compressed digital information for CATV and/or telephony services. Custom high-linearity, optically isolated DFB laser components optimized for multi-channel AM video applications combine with a GaAs driver amplifier and predistorter circuit to deliver exceptional low noise and inter-modulation performance. Temperature stabilization with a thermoelectric cooler plus automatic output power control guarantees a long and reliable laser life. The units are designed for rack mounting and fitted with a self-contained UL-Listed power supply meeting all International requirements. Diagnostic testing and status information is accessible via the front panel VFD and optional Alarm relay contacts.
