1550nm Fiber Transmitters

The FT1502D 1550nm Fiber Transmitter provides high-performance signal transmission of NTSC, PAL, digital or compressed digital information for CATV and telephony applications. Featuring custom, optically isolated DFB (Distributed Feedback) lasers, designed for multi-channel AM video applications, the units are slim 1.75 inches high and mounted in 19 inch racks. The self-contained, UL-Listed power supply supports 85-254V AC input across 47-63 Hz for International use. Laser parameters and all functions are under microprocessor control with a front panel VFD for status information. FT1502D is convenient for fiber-poor areas, driving EDFA fiber amplifiers, and narrowcast overlay. It has output powers up to 10dBm/10mw.
